Refund Policy

All payments for AuditAI subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, invoicing, and refund processing on our behalf. Refunds will appear on your statement as issued by Lemon Squeezy.

30-Day Refund Guarantee

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory right of withdrawal, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 30 days of the date of your initial purchase, without giving any reason. We exceed the statutory 14-day minimum required by EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive).

To exercise this right, notify us within 30 days of your initial charge via our contact page. We will process a full refund of your initial payment within 14 days of receiving your request.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Even if you are not covered by EU consumer law, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on first-time purchases of any paid plan. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, email us and we will refund your first payment in full.

This guarantee applies to the first billing cycle only. Renewals are not covered.

Annual Plan Refunds

If you subscribed to an annual plan and request a refund within the first 30 days, you will receive a full refund of the annual amount charged.

After the 30-day window, if you cancel an annual plan, we will calculate a pro-rata refund based on the number of complete months remaining in your subscription year. For example, if you paid for 12 months and cancel after 3 complete months with no prior refund request, you are eligible for a refund covering the remaining 9 months at the monthly equivalent rate. To request a pro-rata annual refund, contact us via our contact page with your order ID and cancellation date.

Monthly Plan Refunds

If you request a refund within the first 30 days of your initial monthly subscription, you receive a full refund. After the 30-day window, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing month, calculated pro-rata from the day we receive your cancellation request. You may cancel at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

How to Request a Refund

Send us a request via our contact page from the address associated with your subscription. Include:

  • Your Lemon Squeezy order ID or the email address used at checkout.
  • The reason for your request (optional, but helpful for improving the product).
  • For annual pro-rata requests: your cancellation date and the number of months used.

We will confirm receipt and process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Once processed by Lemon Squeezy, funds typically appear on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks

If you believe there has been an unauthorized charge, please contact us first via our contact page. We resolve billing disputes promptly and in good faith. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in permanent suspension of your account and forfeiture of any remaining subscription period. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks where a refund was already issued or where the Terms of Service were violated.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The account was suspended for violation of the Terms of Service.
  • The request is for a renewal charge where no cancellation was submitted before the renewal date.
  • The request falls outside the eligible refund windows described above.
